The Adaptation
Project details
The feature adaptation of Jekyll Can’t Hyde combines the emotional immediacy of an autobiographical survivor story with the tension of a relationship thriller. Set across New Jersey, Miami, Las Vegas, Atlantic City, and Aruba, the story follows the widening distance between a man’s charming public identity and the behaviour Jodi experiences privately.
The screenplay preserves the book’s darker subject matter while allowing Jodi’s humour, personality, friendships, family support, and eventual recovery to remain central.
